This famous photo taken by the Signal Corps showing blood being given by 3rd Division Medic, to wounded GI.
It has been used by the Red Cross urging blood donations, the Readers Digest in one of their films depicting the 1940’s, Time-Life in their books on World War Two, and this year (2001) on hbo.com for their movie “Band of Brothers”.
